Trite, but the point stands. Hanging a poster isn’t graffiti, and it is not vandalism since you can simply take the poster down. And the argument that it is falls apart if any other posters are tolerated.

OK.

As long as we’re getting into ‘ifs.’ If California law requires property damage to meet their definition of vandalism. If they were put up with some hard to remove adhesive that would be vandalism.

I am a little confused as to what “point stands” though. You asked what crime she was charged with and I answered that. You mentioned the Skokie case and intolerant messages, I made no reply to that point and the charges weren’t about the message.
