Democrats are in slash and burn mode and have no thought to how this might turn out eventually. The goal is to get Trump and stop any release of information about how the Russia hoax was started. It was like when Harry Reid changed the rules of the Senate to fit their needs at the time, never thinking that those changes could ultimately benefit Republicans. The Democrats ultimate goal is to gain power and never release it, so their dirty tricks can never be used against them.

You mean a Pandora’s Box like if Joe Biden wins in 2020, and the Republican-controlled Senate asks for all of his son’s financial records? Oh, and for good measure, the tax returns and financial records of every single Democrat member of Congress who got rich while in public service. THAT kind of a Pandora’s Box?
