“PENN HILLS, Pa. — A man who is a driver for a rideshare company, as well as a college professor, is accused of holding two women against their will.”

So is it a driver and a college professor, or a driver who IS a college professor?
(#B seems to be the answer, but this sentence is so poorly written that it’s hard to tell).

“According to police, two women who got in his car after calling an Uber escaped his car and were screaming for help.”

Why would the two women get in the police car after calling an Uber? And did they escape from the police car and were “screaming for help”?

More and more, I see the tell-tale signs of public education in “news reports.”

Isn't that the truth! TV News, where all the jobs to go affirmative action hires and the blondest interns.
