Her son wrote a lot of her sixties sex comedy song lyrics, like Move Over Darling etc., some of which were really cute.

It is so interesting how when someone dies, a recognition of who they were in the Spirit blossoms for everyone to see.

It is a fact that a grain of wheat must fall to the ground and die before it can grow and produce much more wheat. If it never dies, it will never be more than a single seed.

I am very touched by Doris Day’s passing today. May the Lord bless her memory.

Such sorrow!

Her passing is much like Pres Reagan’s passing: It leaves such a void in the world and it’s such a long time before anyone can come close to where they stood.

As more and more of my childhood stars/heroes pass, it saddens me that today’s young folks, including adults simply do not have heroes to mourn.

I was really dreading this day.
