I was wondering why I was not seeing a bigger deal made of Doris Day’s passing. I saw nothing about it on Drudge or Fox.
Then I realized that the majority of people online are not old enough to have made a strong bond with Doris, or other actors of that era. Doris, like host Johnny Carson retreated from the spotlight right after retirement. If you didn’t know about her 30 years ago, chances are, you never would now.

Paul McCartney became a good friend of Doris back in the 60’s. There are things about life that only another extremely
famous person would know, firsthand. They had that bond.

Doris was quite a good singer too.
Semi-bluesy when she wanted to be. Sort of like Adelle is now.

Doris Day projected a persona that would negatively influence the desired behavior of the millenials.

She was a talented singer and actress that gave us young men the heart throbs and desire to find a girl just like her.

Thanks, Doris, for the wonderful life you portrayed and the inspiration you gave to us!
