Bought my Vet when I returned from Vietnam in 1969. Right off the showroom floor for $5,850.00. Damn I wish I never sold it!
Yep, the midnight blue is pretty too. Had a work buddy that had a new 1970 Chevelle convertible in midnight blue with white stripes, white interior and top. LS 6 454 with four speed and Crager SS all around. Had a legal B/MP 66 Fairlane GT myself that I drove on the street. No where near the national record but it would fly. Built a number of others. 69 Camaro SS/RS was my favorite. Damn they were good days.
Too bad. It may have been worth 7 or 8 times that today. Incredible to think that one can own a really special thing like that, have all kinds of fun with it for many years, then actually make a profit off it when they sell it. And not just a profit, a humongous one! THAT is very smart living.

Yeah, I think that's one of the dumbest products ever. Instead of picking up the leaves it just blows it aside, where it often ends up on other people's property, back on their own, or in the street.
