Those two statements appear contradictory, especially given the Patsy's waiter's kindness in the face of a bitter slight. I really like your tag line.

You went to Patsys in my day....80s or Rao’s for fancier Italian in Harlem food

Anything above east 96 st was injun country back then

It was an adventure and the owners would let a cab know there was a fare ready when you finished

Old italian East Harlem....gentrified now all the way to morningside Park....crazy....thst was a super deadly area in my day

Woody Allen and mob guys too liked Patsys and Rao

Al Pacino too
