Not even a late safety car could spice up that boring procession. The new rules have done nothing to assist passing, and the bigger aero wakes of the rear wings have spread out the field even more than last year. When a track like Catalunya produces a boring race, it isn’t news, but when a track like Baku does, something is majorly wrong with F1.

Five races, five Mercedes 1-2 finishes. And the same five guys have been in the top five in every race as well.

C’mon Ross Brawn, switch to ground effect instead of flat bottoms.
