Gosh - when it reaches NOLA and East, they’ve been widening and improving for a while with no talk of tolls....of course, Interstate 90 is the norther cross country route and as far as i know, NY is the only one charging tolls - and when one gets out of PA, which has no tolls on 90, heading east, the road takes a turn for the worse when one enters NY....
There ought to be a warning on all our welcome signage to NYS: Abandon all hope, ye who enter here.
Sigh.
