I think you're right. He was too pompous and arrogant in the manner he answered questions.
He tried to be both boy scout and haughty professor.
The first time that I heard Comey interviewed I got the feeling that there was something off with the guy.
I didn’t know anything about him at the time. I didn’t have any opinion of him one way or the other. But there was something about his demeanor and how he answered questions that struck me as odd. Looking back it may have been that I was picking up that he wasn’t honest at all. Like you would when you can feel that someone is trying to con you.
Anyway he’s probably going to have a hard time hiding behind his job to get out of being charged. He’s already publicly acknowledged that he passed restricted information to a friend of his in order to get it made public. And that’s probably the tip of the iceberg.
