I have an issue with the "entry level" salaries on some of these.

83k for an entry level software engineer? Not.
31k for an entry level salesperson? No way.
55k for an entry level account executive? (i.e. commissioned sales rep. Nope.

Now, things change over the years but not THAT much. I've been employed as all three of these and those numbers are NOT entry level.

I believe you can graduate nursing school in just 2 years rather than 4 if I am not mistaken!! Nurses also work 3 days LONG shifts with 4 days off if you are going to specialize in a particular nursing field you will of course need the extra education, however you could start working after the 2 years and continue your education while working as an RN!!! Nurses are in high demand but you have to have a certain personality to be able to handle the profession, it certainly isn’t for the average person!!!

To qualify for the software engineer job, they’ll first have to relocate to India and get a job in a call center as “Bob from Idaho”.

Then win the lotto for an H1B visa.

When doing an interview beware the smarta** interviewers.

I work at a Help Desk and we are hiring. The requirements on paper are asking for to much. If you know anything about computers and can be pleasant on the phone and are willing to fix issues you should do fine as most of what you need to know is learned on the job.

I am not part of the hiring process but a guy who is was bragging how he tripped up a guy in a question he asked him. On paper the guy was qualified and may have missed this one trick question but I know the person doing the interview. He loves showing how smart he is (he is not) and complains about his current co-workers endlessly.

We have been trying to hire someone since February. yep February.
3 months and counting and I now know why. The interviewer.

Best chance to get hired is on a Friday as the people hiring are worn out from the week of interviews and will just say yes to the person who shows up that day....
