I remember seeing an anatomy book about forty years ago in which the female pictures looked like they were from a porno magazine.
Then another older book in which the anatomical representations were extremely well done, but were from Germany around 1938. Swastikas were removed for USA publication.
Our family doctor at Subic Bay (Lt. Davidson) gave me a Gray’s Anatomy as a gift (and a dissecting kit he put together for me)
He knew I was interested in Medicine. That was a great thing he did.
Of course I had to check out the female anatomy in the book. I was a 12 year old boy...but I had to admit, it wasn’t much to get excited about. Those were dry drawings!
