Cats pajamas caught the Roberts Rules of Order connection.
“the chair can only get away with what the assembly allows.
(Lots has been allowed pre-Blockade removal)
If the rules of the assembly are being violated,
(And rules —have — been violated)
any member can raise a “Point of Order.”
(even with the Blockade gone, the Chair is obstinate)
and it can be appealed & seconded
(again the Blockade is lifted and Chair is crazy)
& power taken from the Chair & the assembly then calls the shots.
(full lifting of Blockade, and crazy aunt is back in the attic)
IMHO the Chair was given enough “rope” over the last year, and now the Chair can have it’s power removed by the Roberts Rules steps.
