A 27-year-old lawyer from North Carolina was crowned the 2019 Miss USA on Thursday during the pageant competition in Nevada.
Miss North Carolina Cheslie Kryst was mobbed by her fellow contestants after her name was announced as the winner during the competition in the Grand Theatre in the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno.
Alejandra Gonzalez of New Mexico was the first-runner up. Oklahoma’s Triana Browne was the second-runner up.

How exactly is that admirable..? It’s an act of unselfishness..?
Lessay that instead we had a “Ms. Jewish Warsaw” pageant:
“I volunteer regularly and I’m a KAPO helping fellow Jews onto midnight trains so they can —as I am told— visit their relatives in the countryside.”
How might THAT self-promo be seen..? They’re both good cuz superiors approved of the behavior..?

I thought they got rid of the swimsuit competition which made the pageant as good as a radio program.
Was that Miss America as opposed to Miss USA?
I thought they were doing away with the swimsuit contest, and all the contestants were going to wear burqas.
And what about the transsexuals? How many of them were in the contest?
I always think of the Andy Griffith episode where Andy is the judge for the Miss Mayberry pageant.

I used to live in Americus GA, and provided music for, I kid you not, the Miss Americus pageant. Southwest Georgia has some pretty girls.
