I don’t think it will though. If they are patient the Grim Reaper will take enough of us, and since they’ve largely captured the young they can win without firing a shot.
There it is. If you have a job, a full fridge, and a box to connect you to any form of visual or audio distraction produced during human history, spending your nights rigging up IED’s or ambushing security forces operating in your area is just not gonna happen.
Talk to me about civil war when millions are trying to come up with something to feed their kids from out of a dumpster and get jammed up by cops for “theft”. Nobody in this country is desperate enough to put their tails on the line for an uprising or civil war; just PO’d enough to pitch a hissy fit every now and then.
Venezuela was the richest country in Latin America before they voted in socialism. Argentina was one of the 10 richest countries in the world in 1900 before they went down the same path. Even Chile voted in Communism in the early 1970s until Augusto Pinochet and the military saved them from themselves.
