RuPauls Drag Race and its behind-the-scenes spinoff, Untucked, are cultural touchstones that have launched catchphrases and minted stars. But neither series has ever lit up the ratings. Recent episodes of each series garnered only a few hundred thousand viewers and were the 285th and 359th most-viewed shows in the cable ratings for the week of April 15.
But both series performed extremely well in another ranking.
The Drag Race and Untucked episodes were the No. 3 and No. 9 most watched among same-sex households that same week.
This is according to Nielsens same-sex spouse or partner household rating, a new statistic that, for the first time, provides a snapshot into the viewing habits of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people.
For some show creators, the inclusion of L.G.B.T. households as a viewing demographic is a long overdue step, and could provide an additional data point to help keep a show on the air. It could also open up a wellspring of information for advertisers that can use it to tailor pitches to viewers most likely to be watching a particular show.

“LGBT is everything on modern television.”
That is why we are attempting to ditch cable. At least with streaming, we can choose what we want to watch when we want it.

The stations that pervs watch might advertise gay bath houses and medications for syphilis.
I don't mind homos and lesbo's depicted on t.v., as long as the depiction is honest in all its horrors (disease, rampant violence and infidelity, nastiness and an acrid hatred of God.)
Not surprisingly, over 7% of young people “identify” as “LGBT.”
The indoctrination is working.
It’s a small audience, but it’s a small audience that buys crap. A household made up of two working men and no children will often have extra dough lying around.
Tonight’s episode is 1975’s “A Case of Immunity”, with Hector Elizondo and Sal Mineo (must have been one of his last appearances).
It’s a good episode like most other Columbo.
This finally arrived today. If you like Quinn Martin shows like I do, then you may be interested:
I’d love to have the full cue/incidental music for Barnaby/Cannon and Streets Of SF. Why QM productions take forever to get released I’ll never know.
