There are lots of native Iowans like those in the article. I know a few. Generally 50 to 70 years of age, always have to be right, overbearing in public, watch a lot of television, came from a Dem and/or union family; definitely would vote for Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot or Satan if they were on the ballot with a (D) behind their name. Frequently married to men, but not particularly happy with them.*
