We have been there and done that. We are broke. Stop. The last time we paid for this , instead of claiming the Moon for the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA we babbled about “mankind”. Mankind didn’t pay for it or pull it off. Until we drop all this globalist crap on the space program I shall resist.
They had some pretty silly stuff on that strip, like a portable telephone you could use as a TV. Like that'll ever happen.

All this yakkety-yak about how to get there, but why do we want to go back? What are we going to accomplish? What, exactly, is the mission?

Take over the EBE Base on the Darkside.
Make the systems redundant. Separate cargo from people. Use remote control and autonomous tools as much as possible. Do everything from a base — land at the base, then fly to interesting locations from there. Have a plan to make money.
back in the day the laundromat HATED us(or they would if they knew who we were) because the bar would shut us off from quarters so we'd go down the block and clean out the laundromat change machine before the weekend was over
