It was Gentile and Jew who nailed Jesus to the cross. In fact, Pontius Pilate (the Roman governor) found no guilt and wanted to release him, after giving him a beating to appease the Jews calling for his death. But the Jews insisted so Christ was crucified. All who have ever sinned are guilty — every last one of them — and us!
