Have you notice how quiet the evening news has become? I don't watch because I can't learn anything from the idiots on tv. The MSM knows the gig is up. They had one and only one shot at the King. They missed. If you thought the past three years were ugly, the next two will be devastating to those who tried unsuccessfully to take down President Trump.
I sit here and ask myself and you how did President Trump with his wife and his three children and their spouses outsmart the FBI, Department of Justice, The CIA, The National Intelligence Agency, the NSA, MI6, Australian Intelligence, French Intelligence ( wait as I laugh at that one) and the MSM idiots? After three years, I enjoy the quiet on tv and can watch baseball again. Well he did! Now we have been told over and over again that these are the best investigative and intelligence agencies in the world. Yet one man and his family defeated all of them. Is President Trump that smart or are the agencies that stupid? If these agencies could not defeat President Trump, how can they protect us from the Russians, the Chinese, the Koreans and the muslims? Twenty five hundred years ago three hundred Spartans under King Leonidas fought at Thermopyle and defeated Xerxes and ignited democracy in the world. Trump's Seven similarly fought the modern Xerxes agencies and preserved democracy for the world. Men with a belief and vision achieve greatness. We are living in that time.

I think, since he was innocent ... he didn't have to do much to outsmart them. He's totally smart and funny the way he toys with them, but if you're innocent, the bullets generally fly through you, with nothing to resist them.
Trump IS smart. But he was innocent.
I think here's what happened:
The democrats are very very very corrupt. I think they assume EVERYONE is corrupt. It's just part of their daily lives that they have something on someone, someone has something on them, and they just horse trade essentially blackmail schemes as a means of elbowing each other for power. Same with most of the establishment on the R side.
I think their miscalculation was the same as we comment on here all the time: They project their own conditions on us all the time, unconsciously. They could NOT CONCEIVE that unleashing Mueller, even though they knew the Russia stuff was just an excuse to START an investigation ... they never in their wildest dreams though Mueller, God of Prosecution, could investigate Trump for 2 full years and come up empty.
So Trump wasn't smart, he was just innocent. The Dems were stupid (un self-aware version of stupid in this case - unaware that they were projecting their own corruption on Trump.)
None of this is to say Trump ISN'T smart, it's just that ... being smart wasn't really necessary. He started the game 30 IQ points ahead not so much because he's smart, but because the left and establishment political crowd, while a den of complexly scheming thieves, is not bright.
He had Lao Tzu on his side because he held the moral high ground.
