“....after he failed to obey the “Move Over” law.”

Seriously, is this law for the idiots that Hogg the left lane, refuse to move over and hold up thru traffic?

Hang him!

Yes, the law that doesn’t get enforced in my state.

I don’t think I’ve taken it too far when I assume a slow driver that holds up a long stream of traffic on a curvy road, or blocks all traffic by driving in the passing lane are Democrats.

THEY’LL decide on the proper speed for everyone.

It’s the way leftists think.

“Well, Clancy, what are you gonna charge ‘em with?”
“This isn’t the girl’s car, so we’ll jail her for trespassing.”
“How about the guy?”
“He’ll get a ticket.”
“A ticket for what?”
“A plane ticket for San Francisco.”

From wiki

In the United States, move over laws refer to requiring drivers to give a one lane buffer to stopped emergency vehicles. For example, while driving in the right lane, if the driver sees a stopped police car, the driver is required to move one lane over to the left to give enough buffer space to avoid any potential accidents.

No. This law means move to the left lane if there are emergency vehicles, work crews, etc on the right shoulder. Not always easy to do, but the law.

It's the law that, in the presence of an emergency vehicle stopped on the shoulder you shall:

1) Reduce speed to 15mph below the posted limit

or

2) Move to at least one lane away from the emergency vehicle while passing it.

IOW: If the cop has somebody stopped on the right shoulder you either remain in the right lane at Limit-15, or you get in the left lane. And speeders in the left lane can just suck it up if you're moving slower than they want. Too many cops, firemen, and EMT have been killed by idiots passing emergency scenes excessive speed.
