The dike looking female sergeant who arrived and took command of the scene ordered the squad to be taken to a car wash and neatly washed away any evidence (or lack there of) the very next day.
I'm not buying the "she slapped the squad" story, which didn't appear until after the sergeant arrived on the scene.

Damond approached the squad from the side, not from the rear of the vehicle, where his partner who was driving at the scene said he heard the noise. His partner also said he would not have fired , and he was the closest person to the 911 caller, because all he saw was a silhouette as she approached the squad.
