Every story I’ve read about this reveals nothing about the driver, who was taken into custody immediately. They don’t even explicitly rule it out as a terrorist attack - they don’t even mention it.
Like everything with the Fake News Industrial Complex (FNIC), the real story is in what’s withheld. If he were white or had some motive other than jihad, they would have stated that up front so as to avert the fabled “backlash against Muslims”.
