Is that normal behavior / operation? i.e., to redirect to Twitter or some other page?

Yes. It checks the URL and if it's FT.com it redirects via Facebook which avoids the paywall. If it's the WSJ, it tries a Twitter redirect which still sometimes works if all cookies are cleared and the cache refreshed! Other online content has other solutions all are automatic.

You can read:

And many, many more all while maintaining the economic boycott of the corrupt and biased MSM.

There are a lot of other tricks in those bookmarklets... killing cookies and clearing the cache opens up a lot!

Thanks. The WSJ must have a crack team looking for ways people have found around the paywall and then jumping right onto a “fix.”

It was interesting that the first Twitter redirect for WSJ didn’t work - blocked. I then [somewhat randomly] tried the third of three and it worked.
