Kiefer Sutherland would return to 24

Kiefer Sutherland "would love" '24' to return.

The 52-year-old actor portrayed Counter Terrorism Agent Jack Bauer in nine seasons of the real time drama from 2001 to 2014 and though he knows it would have been "ridiculous" to carry on much longer at the time, he'd jump at the chance to reprise the role if it became feasible.

He said: "I would have played the character until the day I died if it wasn't just going to feel ridiculous - how many bad days could one guy have?

"I would love to see the show continue.

"If there was ever a format that made sense where I could be part of it, I would absolutely do that.

"That was a whole decade of my life and I loved making that show."

I agree. Designated survivor was nothing but SJW, unwatchable.

They could have Omar and her ilk takeover CTU and prosecute Jack for going after Islamic Terrorists.

Or, they could focus on MAGA hat wearing kids threatening Indians at the Mall simply by standing still.

What they really should do is mimic the old NBC Mystery Movie concept, where they rotated between McCloud, Columbo, and McMillan and Wife and something else. This gave each show a month to produce an episode, which allowed for greater quality.

They could rotate between different CTU locations, each with its own cast. Each weekly story would center on a different CTU (and cast), and each would face some terrorist crisis which would play out over the course of a week (within the 2-hour nightly movie time limit).

Prominent guest stars would be featured each week, either as the target or the baddie. Each CTU might have a different story focus. For example, the Washington DC CTU could focus on threats to the President, Congress, and SCOTUS. A New York City CTU could focus on financial cybercrimes, and Boston-NYC-Chicago threats. An LA CTU would focus on AsiaPac terror. A heartland CTU could focus on homeland and/or international intrigue stories. Or maybe make one a British CTU to focus on European stories.

Each week would be a different movie. Maybe Jack Bauer could be the Director of National Intelligence or something, who has a small unifying role in each show.

She started as a stand up comedian, which I can’t imagine Chloe doing. She’s been in a ton of movies and TV shows, but darned if I remember them. She’s always Chloe to me.

now tell me, isn’t Kiefir is dumb name? Why would Donald Sutherland name his son Kiefer? How could a Catholic priest baptize someone named Kiefer?

Up to a point in time, one had to be named after a saint to be baptized as was the case with my uncle who had an ethnic name and would not be baptized until my grandparents changed his name. Isn’t Kiefir a type of fermented or something?

Named after director Warren Kiefer, who worked with his father.

Kiefer?  At least they didn't name him Queef.
I didn't know that about names and baptism.
Sometimes you can see why no Protestant
country ever went communist.
Protestants wouldn't put up with crap like that.

24 jumped the shark several times towards the end....

I know Jack was good shot, but shooting a master lock off a door with a handgun running full speed at about 20 yards was a bit much...

ok, that makes some sense...this love of naming your children after surnames or of cities is a bit crazy though....you know like: Madison, Jackson, Camden, Dillon, Blake, Taylor, Tyler, etc.

Lots of odd first names are from the last names of relatives or admired people, or aren’t actually the person’s first name atall.
