That was quite a happy reunion they paid for.

Mike Milton, site manager of the St. Louis Bail Project, said in a written statement that this is a “devastating” moment, according to the Post-Dispatch.
“Nobody wants to see something like this happen, but it is crucial to remember that bail didn’t cause this tragedy — Mr. Scott, a 54-year-old father, was charged with a misdemeanor, and if he’d just been wealthy enough to afford his bail he would have been free in either case,”
Hey, Mikey, you are leaving out that Scott also had prior convictions for drugs and... assault.
Scott was initially in jail for a misdemeanor domestic assault charge after he hit his wife in the face in January and threatened to "finish what (he) started."
Restraining orders are a joke.
Restraining orders, peace orders. Do nothing to stop a determined person from reaching you. Its nothing more than saying “ sit” to a pitbull biting your arm trying to rip it off.
And the pitbull lives while people die.
