Bobby Clarke is supportive of keeping God Bless America and is politically conservative including once criticizing liberal Ken Dryden a former goalie who got political few years ago and who compared the Flyers of the 70s to right wing politicians. Clarke blasted the PC move. Holmgren seems like a typical Minnesotan.
Bobby Clarke is/was one of the greatest examples of all time how hard work and grit can bring success at any level. Unfortunately he lacks the humility for self awareness and continues to prove his mediocrity at the administrative level! I accuse him of enabling Holmgren as like animals. They both have no business anywhere near the front office of a minor league team, let alone a pro team! Two words... Rod Brind’Amour! Two more words...Sergei Bobrovsky!
