Fascinating.
I imagine there are similar collections scattered around the whole of the former USSR.
For example; What happened to 30,000 of the 50,000 tanks the Soviets had at the end of the Cold War? (Russia now claims to have 20,000 in their inventory)
Is there a russian version of the bone yard at Davis-Monthan?
Google earth had some fascinating pictures of the large part of the Soviet Navy sinking pierside, and even one with about thirty surface warships on the Kola Peninsula east of Murmansk and west of the White Sea (I think smaller corvettes) clustered in a cove all half sunk. I would love to find some pictures of that.
