Notre Dame Cathedral was built in the Dark Ages.
I believe slavery made a comeback along with the return of pagan influences of the Renaissance.

Notre Dame Cathedral was built in the Dark Ages.
There were no 'Dark Ages'. That is a late 19th century construct by 'historians'.
I believe slavery made a comeback along with the return of pagan influences of the Renaissance.
Comeback?
There always has been slavery.
There are more slave now on the planet than have been all through history...
As to 'pagans', Christian propagandists have been relentless distorting ancient cultures ....

Without getting into a discussion whether the Dark Ages really were dark, Notre Dame was not built then. The building was started during the 12th Century Renaissance, when high Medieval culture began to flourish.
