How, in this world, could anybody even remotely believe they could get away with a scam like this. This guy has to be mentally ill.
I have had very close experiences with 2 fraud perpetuators involving millions of dollars.
One in this country and the other in Canada. What they both had in common is excellent speech, great listeners, very polite and upbeat and very much alive on a day to day basis and likeable.
I think they want a more secretive exciting life and so they do these things to make that happen in spite of the consequences.
Bernie Madoff would be am interesting fraudster to know. - Tom
