An important lesson here: tell any lawyer representing you----he/she is NOT to accept any monies on your behalf
that are adjudicated in a settlement case.

Get it in writing.....and send a copy to (A) the judge in the case, and, (B) the State's Bar Association.

The point is ----establish a verifiable paper trail.
