“Well, I just watched Episode 2, and it was mostly B-O-R-I-N-G.”
They always start their seasons slow, and ramp it up toward the end. 2/3 of the plot happens in the last 1/3 of the season. That would be just the last two episodes. The next to last episode is usually a doozy.
Even though it seems like the battle will kick off within minutes of the next episode starting, they might drag it out - we can’t leave at this point.
They also might drag the Battle of Winterfell over more than one episode.
Maybe the Night King will just surround Winterfell, while he first flies to Kings Landing, and kills a million people.
I thought it was great narrative and buildup
Can’t have battle scenes or naked 20 somethings the whole show
Has to be some plot development
