Hard to see how Clegane Bowl happens at this point, but whatevs.
“If a new magical resolution appears now, it needs to have been well-foreshadowed in the already established lore of the saga.”
Maybe the Horn of Winter? I think that Sam still has it from the Fist of the First Men. His ancestral home is even named Hornhill, which might foreshadow his role, in sounding or fixing the horn.
Another one is Sam healing the Night King, maybe with some green dragonglass.
Sam is in the crypt.
They are fantasy figures in a fantasy show
I have found that women really loathe when men yell...viscerally
And claiming youre yelling at me is almost an atavistic response imprinted in the female brain and it can be prompted simply by the man speaking forcefully and determined
As they themselves scream with abandon totally non self aware
It reminds me of what a famous agent at Willliam Morris once told me
The sign of a good female singer is one who sings without yelling
I always think of Christine McView or the girl who sings Highlander show music
I have had girlfriends who didnt yell...they pouted....not sure which I prefer honestly
Thinking...
Pouting....screamers often throw things and have a fondness for violence
I was actually cut by my ex wife because I asked her why she kept burning the rice
She insisted trying to fry the rice in a skillet Cuban style...she was Arab Christian descended Brasilera.....yes I know it should have been obvious but I was bewitched
I tried to show her how you just boil two cups water ..a little butter and salt and toss in a cup of rice and put on lid and turn as low as possible
Simple
She became enraged and grabbed a large kitchen knife and got my forearm....and I had to lie at the hospital as they queried me
Man could she holler
She had her talents but the price was too high
Now my second wife is a combo yeller pouter but I feel safe having knives and guns around her
Could she be a Bravos faceless man.....I dunno...she has never fought in her life I dont think
Shes a pretty decent person
My ex has been married five times and is now 57 and lives near us and only dates guys in their 30s at most
She looks like Selma Hayek meets Sonya Braga.....
I thought I posted this before, but perhaps I didn’t...
Dani’s character has been being revealed as more and more cunning and ruthless...
While the start of the story largely showed her as a reluctant ruler, and much of her altruistic actions benefits to her directly as almost a byproduct not a calculated move (the freeing of the slaves etc)... it is becoming more and more clear, those actions were probably not purely altruistic, but served her ends.
It is hard to believe the Dani of seasons ago who freed slaves, and crucified the traders would do so if given that decision today...
While her motivations may have been more “pure” at one point, its becoming more and more clear, that she’s looking out for number one more than anything else..... She may turn out to be more like Cersei than anyone wants to admit to. In fact, a whole cliche we are the same monologue on eventual confrontation between these two wouldn’t surprise me in the least.
But yes, I fully expect Dani to lose any shred left of the facade of decency before this is done.
Hard to tell, but the writers can want her to get pregnant as a reason for them to have to get married.
Knight King does not need a ship. He has a flying dragon.
He does not need zombies. He re-animates the dead by himself. All he needs to do is land at any island, kill a few, re-animate them, and the process starts over.
“I fully expect Dani to lose any shred left of the facade of decency”
Some NGO graded the Game of Thrones characters based on current standards for war crimes. Only Ramsey Bolton exceeded Danerys, and only by one count. And that was before this season started.
The Mad King’s daughter.
Sansa was raped by Ramsay Bolton
I know. So that is why I question whether or not Sansa would be considered virginal.
GOT has a LOT of characters; and, a lot of those characters have been in the story for years.
I think this episode was a run up to the giant battle in next week's episode; but, also, I think it is a "goodbye" to all of the characters that we have come to like, or hate, or admire in this show. They pretty much spent time with everyone, a few minutes, so there is no knowing who will live or die; but, it is a goodbye to the characters who will die.
Hey, maybe all of them will die and the Night King will sit on the Throne.
Well, the one thing they still need to address, are the Night Kings intentions, and motivations... at least as far as I know, that has yet to be explained. They don’t need to, but the best villains aren’t just empty canvases...
I would expect some sort of big surprise surrounding that, before this is over....
Hockey is big here but I confess Ive only seen the Preds twice
I do YouTube the fights though
I have been wondering about her for, I dunno, about 3 seasons. I believe I have come to the conclusion that she is not going to sit on the Iron Throne.
One of the reasons that I have thought this recently, is that everyone is always saying, "she is not her father" or "she is not like her father, the Mad King". After hearing this so many times from various characters, I am wondering who they are trying to convince. Me (or whoever they are speaking to in the scene); or, themselves.
I have been seriously worried about Sansa since Daenerys' arrival. Sansa does not seem to be willing to "take the knee" to her; and, we know what happened to the Tarleys when they refused.
Yeah, my hubby was commenting on Richard Dormer's voice last night. He said it was "Shakespearean". I said that I imagine he has been doing Shakespeare on stage for a while. Wonderful voices.
Loved the song and he has a very nice voice. But, alas...
Yes, which is why I am a bit worried about them sending all of the non-combatants into the "crypts" to keep them safe.
No, but since Targaryens routinely married each other, she said in the book that she had just assumed she'd marry her brother and was taken by surprise when he traded her to the Dothraki in exchange for any army.
That’s probably where I got the idea she was married to her brother at one time. I never read the book(s), my daughter has and was the “expert” when I had a question.
No, it’s their accents and vocal pitch.
Yes, exactly.
