Peter Gabriel (within and without Genesis) always had thought-provoking material.
His third solo album (melt) is one of my faves.
Nothing could top his first solo album. "Moribund the Burgermeister", "Waiting for the Big One", "Humdrum", "Here Comes the Flood", and of course, "Solsbury Hill".
