It’s a horrible problem around all universities, where graduating students abandon their pets. That says a lot. None of it good.
Very good friend in college (looong time ago) had a boa she couldn't keep. I rode around with her meeting prospective owners. She wasn't going to let just anyone get that snake. She flat out told one person that they wouldn't be suitable.
