Yeah. . .and turning off the MCAS resulted in the third-world pilots discovering they cant fly. . .
If so, Boeing is still responsible for the safety of passengers around the world who don't have the luxury of flying planes piloted only by American pilots.
My wife was on that very flight no., same 737-8 model, just a few months before (not necessarily the same aircraft). Ethiopian Air was the only airline that could meet her schedule.
So, should she demand an American pilot, or not fly around the world to promote American values and legal system in sh**hole nations that desperately need her help?

Most third-world nations are serviced by some first world air carrier. When I would travel to Africa I would never fly on a national carrier. Would adjust my schedule if needed to get on a Brit Air flight.
But fly on whatever carrier you want.
