Just saying. . .”Boeing built an aircraft that can’t fly without a computer compensating and/or exacerbating its design flaws”. . . and many fighters are designed to be unstable and need a computer assist (F-16 comes to mind). . .just saying and not entering this fight..

The F-16 is deliberately unstable to improve maneuverability. It uses a flight control system and its ventral control surfaces to help the aircraft leverage the instability for nimble maneuverability.

The 737-800 Max was not intended to be or designed to be unstable because it is not a fighter.

The F-16 can also be safely landed without the FLCS engaged and it has been safely landed with a dead stick and the FLCS disengaged to allow the pilot to ablate the aircraft with a steeper than normal AOA.

Try doing that in a 737-800 Max.
