Well, be prepared to hand over your sovereignty in a slow yet inexorable fashion. If France is in the “Eurozone” 100 years from now, it will resemble the same relationship that U.S. states have to the Federal government (namely that of a mere administrative extension/wing).

a lot of these pro-sovereignty Europeans, particularly those hailing from more powerful countries like France (So excluding the likes of Poland) — are ultimately on a power trip and in the long term, envision to rivaling or overtaking US pre-eminence in the world in the long term. And that’s what this sort of pan-Europeanism is about even from the ‘right’ wing.

Sounds harmless, until they sell their souls to China or Russia to make that happen, as Italy seems to have done with China as of late with ‘populist’ Salvini at the helm.
