I actually went to the theater with a black friend to see Blazing Saddles when it came out.

he thought it was hilarious because Sheriff Bart always made the white guys look like idiots

Looking at the IMDB entry for that movie, I count three Jews (Mel Brooks, Andrew Bergman, and Norman Steinberg) and one black (Richard Pryor) among the writers for that movie. But we know that the snowflakes would likely have that very little tolerance for that movie.

And then there’s “Trading Places”, directed by John Landis and one of the writers was Herschel Weingrod. And that one would also have plenty of objectionable material as far as today’s standards are concerned.

One of my favorite scenes was all the black track layers singing “I get no kick from champaign.” Comedy brilliance.

I saw it at the theater too, but missed the first ten minutes, which left us totally clueless about what was going on, in fact the movie came across as really corny. Fially saw it from the start.

Every scene is funny.
