I haven't minded the others, ("eh, whatever" is mostly how I felt) but I hated hated hated Rogue One. Of all the ways to tell the story of how the rebels got the Death Star plans, that's what they chose? Could have been a heist movie. Could have been a "Dirty Dozen" movie about those soldiers in Vietnam Era duds that show up at the end. But instead it's a tedious string of visits to Planet Whateverine to I'mLosingTrackia to WhoCaresia where they get some bit of information followed by a fight and a narrow escape in their spaceship. Like 26 times, it seemed. Then, at the end, there's suddenly a romantic subplot that absolutely nothing in the story hinted at before, followed by everyone (spoiler!) being incinerated. Bah.
They kinda had developed a back story already for what happened so they had to work around that. I kinda liked it. I liked it more the phantom menace.
