Landslides are WAY down the list of concerns. Tsunamis, and building collapses, particularly up the Columbia, and along the coast line, are a greater problem.

Landslides will close rail and highway links to the coast, but it's Democrats, so there is always an upside.

A portion of an unstable hill collapsed, sending mud and debris to the south across the North Fork of the Stillaguamish River, engulfing a rural neighborhood, and covering an area of approximately 1 square mile (2.6 km2). Forty-three people were killed and 49 homes and other structures destroyed.”
