Certainly not. I don't think there's any way to interpret my comment as saying that.
But on the positive side, maybe drying out in prison will help him turn his life around.
I hope so. Unfortunately, meth does some bad things to the brain that don't seem to go away after kicking the addiction. I know several people who were heavy users (one of them only got clean by going to jail for 6 months), and they show symptoms of schizophrenia. Not as bad as when they were using, but bad enough.

I didn’t intend to imply you thought that in your comment. OK.

People choose to fry their brains the first time they suck on these drugs. I simply have no empathy left for those who allow these drugs in their life today.....there’s no excuse as ‘everybody’ knows well the risk and where it leads.
