Were you going over to NC State Veterinary Hospital or to Veterinary Specialists in Cary? I took my Lab to Cary, they were very good with him. Diagnosis wasn’t good and neither was prognosis but they helped keep him happy as a clam and comfortable for over a year past the most optimistic prognosis. We went with palliative for quality of life, with some radiation to reduce the tumor size. He lived to the grand old age of 15, long life for a big male Lab.

NC State and I was very impressed with the place and the staff people I met.

A really clean facility and area.

The GSD is going back for radiation next week. Cancer in the nasal cavity.

A rather large one shot over northern Massachusetts last night. Left a smoke trail, but went north west. 8:45 pm EST. I should have photographed the trail... but I am slow with the phone camera.
