Lori Loughlin and husband Mossimo Giannulli don’t appreciate the backlash over their alleged involvement in the college admissions cheating scam. After pleading not guilty earlier this week, a source tells PEOPLE that the couple resents how the case is playing out in the public eye. “This is putting unspeakable stress on her and her family,” a source close to Loughlin tells PEOPLE. “They’re having to play this all out publicly, and they’re fair game for jokes and memes, but also outraged [by] people who are saying that they are cheaters.” “They’re being destroyed,” the source adds.

The only problem I have with all this is the other parents should be in the headlines as well. Of course, they’re nobodies unlike celebrity Lori.

They obviously don't understand the fundamentals of the legal system. It's not designed to be "appreciated."

My husband and I scrimped and saved to keep our kids from being burdened with student loans and these people ... it’s infuriating.
Just one more semester of tuition room and board for our youngest. If they go on to higher education we’ll see what happens. But our oldest has a good job so I’m not sure he’s going to pursue an advanced degree. I was a complete opposite eternal student. That’s why I have a buttload of student loans to pay lol

Never heard of this family before all this, but since they appear to completely symbolize the stereotypical Hollywood elite rich spoiled creeps, I’m all for giving them the harshest treatment possible.

Some poor disadvantaged ethnic minority could have had those seats (in this political climate, SHOULD have had those seats) - and THAT is why these people are going to jail.

I hope Loughlin goes free. If I were on that jury, I'd let her walk, just on principle.

Hiring this artificial boost for the kids may or may not affect the long-term benefits regarding career paths or financial rewards later in life, but then, maybe college is not for everybody as a necessary adjunct for personal satisfaction.

Her daughter Olivia Jade was already on her way to becoming her own millionaire based solely on her status as a marketable "Instagram Influencer" and by many accounts, never bothered attending any of the classes she was enrolled in.

You’re right about “green privilege”, and yes, Juicy Smollett was all about black privilege. It is racist to have any expectations at all of blacks today - and it is killing them.
