In Seattle some sports guy also was talking about how Seattle has had a poor offensive line in many of the past years (last year was better), Wilson has a huge number (60%??) of his passes to players that didn’t make the draft, etc. The numbers were inline with what the sports “experts” were ere thinking it would be.
But yeah - with so many of these star players, I think gee - can’t they cut back to “only” 30 million a year, allowing that 5 million to go for a good offensive lineman!?
The sports guys made it sound like the Seahawks got a reasonable deal, and enough money to keep the players they want to keep. They were worried that Wilson’s broker (from Baseball) was going to hold out for an entirely new way of structuring the payments and the contract that would put the Seahawks in a bind.
Well, they’re done for the next 4 years.
Yep - knew I wouldn’t have to point it out because of all the literate FReepers....
I have been thinking that for years....I just don't see how it survives. How does anyone afford a game for a family of four?
