I doubt that ! The university probably knew what it was getting. Its a private school and it had a “private entry fee”. I will agree the other applicants were defrauded but mostly because the bought into the scam of “institutional elitism”. The real damage is the university’s brand.
This even allowed the peaking under the hood, instead of a Rolls-Royce engine its a Yugo!
The reality is, that of all these kids that got in on bribes and lies and crimes... as far as we know NOT A SINGLE ONE FLUSHED OUT!!! So what does that tell you? It tells you these schools are HARDLY ELITE! If they cheated to get in, but then weren’t flushed out because they couldn’t handle the work, then it tells you the entrance process is not there to ensure that people won’t get in that can’t handle the work, and these universities are HARDLY the best and the brightest.
