AUGUSTA, Ga. Here he comes.
Brace yourself, Augusta.
Brace yourself, golf world.
Tiger Woods, 14 years removed from his last Masters victory, is in prime position entering the weekend to seize his fifth green jacket.
Woods, who last won the Masters in 2005, stormed up the Augusta National manually operated leaderboards with a 4-under 68 in Fridays second round and stood at 6-under for the tournament. That was one shot out of the lead shared by Jason Day, Francesco Molinari, Brooks Koepka, Adam Scott and Louis Oosthuizen.
Woods in contention at the Masters again. Just the way it always used to be when he was winning in 1997, 2001, 2002 and 2005.

Once again, I ask you where is the proof that Woods used steroids? Put up or shut up!
Or are you relying on internet heresay?.......Duh!
As I said before, put up or shut up!
True. He won with patient consistent play. He did not put it in the water on 12 or fifteen, and he kept his mistakes to bogeys rather than doubles. I wish someone had mounted a stronger challenge, but I guess conditions were more difficult today as opposed to yesterday. Congratulations Tiger Woods!
And now we must prepare for a month-long media onslaught.
I think the reason there wasn't a great challenge was because they say the pressure on Sunday at Augusta is like no other. Tiger doesn't feel that pressure because he has won before and he has nothing to lose. Like you said he won with patient consistent play. I don't think there will be a media onslaught. Tiger has done this before and he can do it again, I bet he will. I don't think Tiger thinks about the past.
Tiger has 3 things on his mind right now.
