Exactly right, which is why I placed a package of frozen gizzards bottom-side-uppards earlier this evening. No, I don’t eat them, they’re for my dogs, but I’ve read that properly cooked they are considered a delicacy in the South.
No fried chicken dinner is complete without fried gizzards, liver, and heart. (gag! let’s stop there, before we discuss the feet.)
