I’ve spent my entire life to this point doing medicine and science. I’m very open to any kind of therapy, if it works. That said, everyone needs to remember that ‘medicines’ in the beginning were all botanicals. I’ve been to the still preserved original botanical gardens of the oldest medical school in Europe, and there is no question that specific plants, herbs, etc., have powerful biological effects.
That said, just like with modern pharmaceuticals, those biological effects can be positive, AND they can be negative.
My point is that people need to be careful with anything that has biological activity. Sometimes they are beneficial, and sometimes they can be lethal. It’s just reality.
yup no matter what you gotta do research.
i had to stop taking a supplement that had urishiol oil in it because its the same oils in poison ivy and sumac.
It depends on dosage too. The optimal dose can make a substance a medicine. At a higher dose, it becomes a poison.
Your post is very correct. However without analysis of the precise pharmaceutical effects of the herbal, conversation on this herbal is irrelevant. It may be a good herbal or very bad herbal.
