Land of the Lost.
Actually...
B5 (JMS & Co.) was locally on OTA TV (Fox in this locale, IIRC). They thought (for fairly good reason) they were going to be cancelled, but then got a reprieve on TNT. I remember that quite clearly: The Fox station in my area that B5 was on for the 1st 4 seasons was far enough away that my existing OTA antenna’s reception was marginal. It was also on a rather pricey sat TV package, IIRC, but I at that time did not have sat TV at all. Instead I bought a better OTA antenna. :-)
When B5 went over to TNT, TNT was on a reasonably priced sat TV package, so I got sat TV — to watch B5!
On the B5 side of things, JMS was bringing the series to a somewhat hasty conclusion @ the end of Season 4. Then when they got the reprieve they saved the already completed or mostly completed “Sleeping In Light” finale for the end of Season 5. The problem was, this left the last part of Season 4 even more awkward. Among many other things, Claudia Christian had already decided to bail at the end of the 4th season.
That all left a lot of “filler” for JMS to generate for Season 5, since nearly all of the original story (save for “Sleeping In Light”) had been told. So... quite a bit of Season 5 felt like filler — granted that it IMO still had many excellent episodes.
Space Above and Beyond. Not great bur very decent and not completely stupid like most SciFi shows and movies.
Otherworld (1985).
Babylon 5 completed its arc, and was a successful series.
The Invisible Man was quite good and amusing. Apparently it was cancelled due to an ownership dispute between Sci Fi and some other network.
Being Human, the American version, was also very good. It went off quick but was at least given resolution.
Also The Fantastic Journey and Q.E.D.
Oh.
Now and Again.
Agreed. I think Crusade would have been good if not for the conflicts between TNT and JMS, plus, it was another story that sort of needed time (maybe most of a season) to really get on its feet.
It’s really too bad the Sci-Fi Channel did not have the budget to pick it up.
“The Invaders.”

That was one of my favorite TV series when I was a kid.
Only lasted two seasons, unfortunately.
Threshold! Lasted one season on CBS. They never gave it a chance! Strong cast too- Brent Spiner, Peter Dinklage, and the very easy on the eyes Carla Gugino.
Check it out if you can find it!
Quark deserved more.
Crusade the short lived but promising spin off.
SAAB was definitely killed off just as it got going.
Netflix remake of Lost in Space is really good
I loved Alcatraz!
Predictable or not, there was Gene Hunt and the Cortina.
Killed by Fred Freiberger.
